  • Started DNB course in Department of Orthopedics which lasted for three years.
  • In 2004- All the operation theatres  were well equipped with HEFA filters, laminar air flow and reduced infection rate to negligible.
  • In 2005- Newer Ilizarov fixators, interlocking nailing systems, electrical drilling system installed in operation theatres.
  • In 2006- Newer version of fracture table, Spine  instrumentation, Battery operated drilling system available at both operation theatres.
  • In 2007 – ‘Arthroscopy Unit’ started at Government Medical College and Hospital, Miraj.
  • In 2008- Pneumatic drilling system installed  at Government Medical College and Hospital, Miraj.
  • Electronically operated tourniquet made available in both the theatres.
  • In 2009 Organized CME on ‘TRAUMA’ at GMC, Miraj.
  • In 2010- New modular operation theatres constructed at GMC, Miraj with central A.C, central oxygen, laminar air flow, HEFA filters.
  • In 2013 New C arms installed at both the hospitals.
  • Organised various diagnostic camps in  nearby villages and provided treatment at both hospitals.
  • In 2016 MCI inspection for starting PG course.
