Department Information

The Department of Anatomy was established in June, 1964. In this department students learn Human Anatomy which forms firm foundation of the whole art of medicine. The students actually dissect human cadavers under supervision of teachers so that they can learn structure of the human body. In  addition to teaching, the Department is involved in various college and University academic activity and  MLC work.  The department has well equipped histology and research laboratories. The museum of department displays various soft specimens, bones, embryology models, charts, CDs etc for the benefit of the students. Undergraduates and postgraduate students learn fundamentals of genetics and radiology. The department has well established library which includes various reference books, journals for the benefit of Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
