History:
Inception of the departrnent was in 1962.
Dr N M Tiwari was honoured as our first HOD.
He served as HOD from 1967 to 1974.
PG course started in the year 1972.
In 2009, PG course got MCI recognition.
In 2010, MCI recognized PhD course started.

Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (NCC-PvPI) under Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Government of India.
